Spouses, family members, & friends. 

We are victims. 

Most of us are victims of sex crimes ourselves. 

We are advocates. 

We are advocates of changing a broken system that doesn’t work and creating one that focuses on prevention and helping people instead of creating more harm and trauma. 

We are the collateral damage of a system that doesn’t work. 

Evidence shows and experts state that the sex offender registry doesn’t work, that the laws are reactionary instead of based on common sense, and that it does more harm than good.
