Sex offender laws have largely been created as knee-jerk reactions to a single, horrific, incident. They’re not well thought out. They’re reactionary. They’re vague. They’re punishing the wrong people.

We want to educate the public about the Sex Offender Registry, how it works, how it doesn’t work, what it’s like to be on it, what it’s like to enforce it, what prison sentences are like, what prison is like for sex offenders, and all of the nuances of “Registry Life.”<\/p>\n

We want you to understand. We want you to learn. We want to keep you, your children, your loved ones, from becoming a victim of a sex crime or a victim of a broken registry. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
